The Cat Eye, the secret to being rip your clothes off sexy
Angelina Jolie. Megan Fox. Zoe Saldana. Taylor Swift. Countless of other gorgeous women.
What do all these ladies have in common other than amazing talent and being unbelievably sexy? Well, I think I've figured it out. It's the cat eye! You've got to be blind not to realize how beautiful these women are, and I'm not gonna lie, I'm seriously girl crushing on them and their makeup looks.
The cat eye is such an amazing way to elongate and make your eyes look more exotic and to emphasize your natural eye shape. And nowadays, cat eye looks aren't only limited to black liquid liner. You can do a cat eye with gel liners, regular pencil liners, or just even extending your eyeshadow along your lower lash line a bit like Taylor Swift has below.
The best part about the cat eye is that it's simultaneously so dramatic yet simple. You'll always get attention because it's so striking. You can do a smoky look with it and pair it with a bare face and nude lip for a striking appearance or you can pair it with a bright lip like Megan Fox occasionally does for that extra va va voom.
The cat eye can be a tricky skill to master, but once you do, you'll love it. So I've posted some links below to my favorite youtube cat eye tutorials!

And for the last picture, I absolutely loved Zoe Saldana's look as Nyota Uhura in Star Trek. She looks so hot and retro! So don't be shy, ladies, draw attention to those peepers this summer with a super sexy cat eye!

YSL Cage Shoes
Yikes...don't think I can pull these YSL Tribute Caged Sandal Boots. They're a little too crazy for me. The heel is made of metal while the body of the boot is made of leather. It must be interesting to walk in. Well, atleast if your feet get hot, it will circulate air. I guess if you dress these right it can look cute...
Stella McCartney...Beaded Shoes
Stella McCartney is one of my favorite designers. I just love her sense of style. Anyhow, I love these beaded shoes. They're from last Spring/Summer 2008 season. They used to be $1000, now at $500. If I had the money, I would totally get them. Maybe I'll find a look-a-like.

Makeup Haul!
So, I've been studying and working hard lately for a test, and as of yesterday, I am officially free! So what did I do today, on my first day of freedom? Naturally, I went on a shopping spree!!!
Here's my haul!
From left to right, we have: MAC lipstick in Strawbaby from the Fafi Collection, Trio of Sephora Shimmer Lip Glosses, Clean and Clear Steam Soft In-Shower Facial, and NYX Eyeshadow in Midnight.
Wee! Let's kick things off with some reviews and thoughts!
1. MAC Lipstick in Strawbaby
Now, if you're an avid follower of the MAC collections, you might be confused on how I bought this lipstick seeing as how it was part of the Fafi Limited Edition Collection that was released in the spring of last year. I totally found a gem of a store today, and that store is called the Cosmetics Company Outlet. These stores are located all around the United States, usually in outlet malls. Best part? They sell high end cosmetics for a quarter of the price. Not to mention, because they're an outlet, they often get cosmetics that are from seasons past, things that may have been discontinued or limited edition. So if you're kicking yourself for not buying something from a collection, check this place out. They had a ton of MAC cosmetics from old collections like Alexander McQueen, Emanuel Ungaro, Sonic Chic, Blue Storm, and etc. They also had Smashbox, Bobbi Brown, Lancome, Clinique, and many other high end cosmetics for super cheap!
P.S. I bought this when the collection first came out, and I love, love, loved it. It's this truly unique shade that's a berry rose color with blue, green, and red microglitter. It's super pretty, unique, and gives your lips a very just-been-kissed look to them. It is my HG lipstick, and I hardly used it because I didn't want to run out (do you guys do that too?). But now, I no longer have to worry!
2. Sephora Lipgloss Trio
Okay, technically, I didn't buy this. My bday was earlier this week, and I'm sure I've mentioned it before, but I'm a Sephora Insider, meaning that I get little perks like this! If you're a Sephora Insider, you not only get free gifts/samples when you garner enough points, but they give you nice little free gifts like this for your birthday! I don't know how good the lipglosses are, but the colors look pretty, and it was free. Can't complain! If you're not a Sephora Insider, become one. Immediately. There's nothing to lose!
3. Clean and Clear In Shower Facial
I love this cleanser/facial. You put it on your face in the shower, soap up your body while the facial opens your pores and cleans them out thanks to the steam from your shower, and you wash it off. It makes my skin feel smooth and clean and tingly, just the way I like it.
4. NYX Eyeshadow in Midnight
So as a lot of you ladies may or may not know, NYX is a makeup line that is extremely comparable to MAC in terms of pigmentation at a quarter of the price at your local drugstore or ULTA. Well, I decided to check this out, and I am not disappointed. From reading reviews at makeupalley and other makeup blogs, I was really interested in this color because I need a better black eyeshadow and because this one is truly unique. It's a great blackened green color with silver and gold reflects. It's absolutely stunning, and I am so impressed with how smooth and well pigmented it is. I can't wait to line my eyes with it, I know that extra dimension and flash of green will help my brown eyes pop! And ooh...smoky eyes have suddenly gotten a lot hotter.
Thanks for reading, and if you guys have any suggestions on makeup I must have, please let me know. It's unfortunate that I'm happily addicted to makeup!

First Date Outfit Idea...budget $50.00
Fashionistas: Since we're in a recession, I figured it would be cool to find an outfit for $50 bucks, shoes and all. You can still look good with a smaller budget!
This was somewhat hard to compile, but I did it! I try to use stores that you can find at the mall or outside your house.
I believe that every first date, a girl should definitely wear a skirt or a dress, something that shows off your legs. You need to show those legs to the boys! Trust me, they will be reeled-in, which is good since hopefully you're going on date with someone you're attracted to. But obviously, do it modestly yet sexy.
Dress: $19.50 from Wetseal
Heels: $17.50 from Target on sale
Earrings: $3.80 from Forever 21
Clutch: $8.49 from Charlotte Russe
Total comes out to: $49.29! Whoop! Just a little under $50! You don't always need a lot of money to look good. It's great, but sometimes circumstances force us to be frugal. After that, you're ready to WOW your guy!

Man Bags...What Can I say...
A week ago, I met up with my friend from Serbia. Little background: he came to the US about 4-5 years ago from a soccer scholarship. He's cool and all...but he wears a man bag. Just like Ross from Friends and his man bag. :D
I understand that European fashion is somewhat different from US fashion, but I don't know how I feel about it. When I saw him walking down the sidewalk, from chest up, he looked cool in his shades and diamond earring on his left ear. Then when I looked down, I saw this black diesal man bag and all of the sudden it was like...whoa. Like that sound that comes one when everything is going good and then you see something bad...that's how I felt. LOL.
I think I'm okay with like big satchels like this one that Beckham and John Mayer is wearing:
But my guy was definitely sporting the small bags like this one:
I would definitely not feel the guy if he was holding a clutch like sexy soccer player, Cristiano Renaldo...even if it was a Louis Vuitton bag.
I don't know, it does kind of bother me a little bit. What do you guys think??
**Just to feed to your curiosity, I'm not not interested in him any more because of the bag, but because he's boring.

Fashion News: JIMMY CHOO is COLLABORATING WITH H&M!!!
OMG, I can't tell you how EXCITED and THRILLED that legendary shoe designer, Jimmy Choo is working with one of my fav retailers, H&M!!! This is going to be one of the best collabos yet! This collection of shoes and bags is going to be coming in time for the holidays on November 14, 2009. I know what's going to be number 1 on my wish list. The tough part is that it will be sold only at 250 stores worldwide. So who knows what stores that will be yet, probably about a bunch of them will be NYC. Anyhow, can't wait!

How Trendy and Chic does Our First Lady Look?!
Good Deal Alert--Bebe $5 shipping
Marc Jacobs! Oh how I <3 thee!
The first time I ever laid eyes on this bag, I fell in love. I love Marc Jacobs and this is a must have bag for me. It's currently on sale for 800 something, down from 1000 something. Way too expensive for me at this point. Hopefully it will go down, because I would totally get it if it was 200-400. What do you guys think?
Lugging that Trendy Luggage
Diane von Furstenberg makes a lot of things. She makes dresses, shoes, etc. One of the things I like from her collections are her luggage pieces. I know that it doesn't make sense to spend a lot on suitcases that you probably only use 1-3x at most a year. But why not look good, while you're at?
Check out some of her pieces!

Wanting...this little black dress
I actually don't have a little black dress in my closet. I know, this is a tragedy! The LBD is absolutely an essential in every woman's wardrobe. It's just that I never found one that particularly caught my eye or left me feeling breathless. Well, I found one that finally took my breath away.
I was randomly surfing on Forever 21 (I like to torture myself with images of beautiful, cheap clothing I can't go buy because I'm studying), when I came across this beautiful Grecian styled dress. The beauty and simplicity of the front already had me hooked, but then I saw the back...
...and oh snap! I frickin' love dresses that have surprise details in the back! I loved it so much, I had to bookmark the page. And for the first time, I'm considering buying a dress online and from all places, Forever 21, the mecca of cheap (in both construction and price) clothing.
The dress retails for $22.80 not including s/h, and is made of 96% rayon and 4% spandex. I normally don't have a problem with the quality of my Forever 21 clothes, but then again, ordering online? Especially from XXI without trying it on or seeing the dress in person? It's a bit of a hit or miss, don't you think?
Ayah...what should I do? I lurve this dress, but what do you guys think?

If You Seek Christian Louboutin Petal Pumps
Not really 'glad' about Gladiators
I don't know. This fad came last year and it seems to be continuing on this summer. They look so cute at the store on the shelf, but when I try it on...I'm like "Ew, this makes my feet look weird". There are some that are just absolutely adorable.
Would you guys wear them?
