Mi Estilo Es Su Estilo--How I Wear Cincher belts

That's right I know Spanish! It means: My style is your style! Not to say, that we all should copy me and be me because there's only one me :) But I want to give out some outfit and style ideas so fashionistas can branch off of my ideas and create their own style and character!

I'm not much of a photographer nor am I crazy about taking pics of myself. I like taking pictures better than being the object. So pardon my craziness! :)

I love cincher belts. I think they're one of the most useful and wonderful accessory piece. I bought 2 belts from Express, they're beaded and awesome! I have a black and a zig zag one. Find that cincher belt to go with boring tops/dresses or baggy or loose fitting tops/dresses. You can wear cinched belted tops with any kind of bottoms because the cincher belt is already giving your upper body shape.

I'm wearing a zebra tank dress from H&M 25$, Express black beaded belt 30$, shoes were pointed heels from BCBG girls, 20$ (Marshalls). Total outfit: ~$80 bucks.

Dress from Forever 21, $13 and belt from Express, $35 and I wore the same shoes as above.

Sorry, about the low quality pics, my friend took the pics, and her camera sucks. I have a better one and will be sure to use it next time.

Christian Siriano's New Cosmetic Line with VS

Add a cosmetic line to Christian Siriano's resume. Having graduated from Project Runway, he was been in a whirlwind within the fashion world. His new shoe line just came out in Payless Shoes recently and now a cosmetic line with Victoria's Secret. I was at the VS the other day, and I was ooo I must take a picture of this because I really like the colors for cases and compacts. His line comprises of 5 eye shadow colors, chocolate brown (good for smokey eyes), dark navy blue, sky blue, gold, and pearl white. There are 3 lip colors, your basic red, pink, and nude. There's also a trio compact with bronze and gold, and another nude color, good for the summer glow. I really like the brush that looks like a fan, I thought it was cool.

Not planning to try these any soon cause I don't need anymore cosmetics in my collection, but if I did I would def give this line a try.

Check it out at your nearest Victoria's Secret! Sorry if the picture is blurry, I was in a hurry to take the pic and it didn't work out right for me.

3 Easy Back to School Makeup Looks

My summer just flew by :(

But on the flipside, I'm getting ready to start my final semester of college (real world, here i come)! And that means that I'm going to have to make sure I look my most fabulous, and for all you ladies out there who want to keep 2009 going with a bang, here are some quick and gorgeous makeup looks for ladies on the run.

Exhibit A: Eye Popping Beauty

My personal fave that I've been rocking lately is this combo below courtesy of the ladies over at the Glamour Beauty Blog.

Now, you might not notice it right away, but there is a definite something different about her eyes. A good different. Let's zoom in a little to see.Nicole Richie has got a black, slightly winged liner on top, and a nice deep eggplant eyeliner on her bottom lashes! It's a very easy way to incorporate color into your eye look without going overboard. Notice how the purple especially makes her gorgeous yellow/green/??? colored eyes pop? If you've got brown eyes, definite colors to try on your lower lash line would be navy, purple, or green. I find that these colors will make your eyes look like they're coming out of your head! In a good way, of course. If you have blues, line the bottom with brown, copper, or silver. And as demonstrated on Ms. Richie, purple is beautiful for green/hazel eyes.

Exhibit B: Shimmery White

Alessandra Ambrosio's eye makeup looks like it has a lot going on, but it's pretty stunning and simple. She ran a shimmery white eyeshadow all along her lid and lower lashes, focusing the color on her inner corners to really highlight and define her eyes. Then, she lined her eyes in black to really contrast against the white. Feel free to smudge the black liner along the outer corners for a smokier look, if you're into that. Finish off with a curl of the lashes and mascara. Shimmery white shadows really just liven up your eyes without adding too much color, and it's so incredibly easy to do. Great way for you to look awake after a long night of cramming :)

Exhibit C: Blushing Beauty

I used to not be a big blush girl, but this stuff is really growing on me! When I find myself awake way earlier than any human should be up, I know I look pale and colorless like I've arisen from the grave. And on other occasions, you just find yourself looking washed out and lifeless, and that's not your fault. There's an easy solution to this, and it's to simply apply blush!

If you don't have time to do any eye looks, just blend some blush into the apples of your cheeks to give you a rosy-cheeked, youthful glow. It really does do wonders in brightening up your face. Plus, men are shown to be more attracted to women who are flushed because it's a sign of arousal. Just a nice side effect :)

Excited for RACHEL by Rachel Roy!

Rachel by Rachel has arrived to Macy's this week! I am so excited for her line! I haven't had the time to check it out yet, but I saw some of the previews of the collection via The Budget Babe. I think Rachel Roy did a really good job keeping the lines and the cuts well shaped. I always loved her creativity, it's very feminine yet a little edgy.

Hurry and check it out, fashionistas!
