Hello beautiful ladies!
This is going to be part one of a multi-part series where I post up some of my style icons and why I love them. Cultivating your own style can be tough, but I get a little help by taking my cue from some truly inspirational ladies. Now, I never try to emulate these ladies exactly, but I do like to save pictures of outfits I like to try and remind myself that this is a certain look that I want to go for. I think it's a great way to figure out what you like and dislike and to figure out the kind of look you want to have.
The first lady I'm doing a post on is the lovely Sarah Jessica Parker. Now, I have to admit, she wears some pretty crazy outfits, and she's actually been voted Least Sexiest Woman by some dumb male magazine, but you know what? I could care less, because what I love about her is that she has the confidence to rock what she's wearing, and I admire that about her.
She dresses for herself, and I think a lot of women would kill to have her swagger. She's unique, and she is never afraid of trying new things. Whether or not her bra strap is showing, she's got a crazy hat on her head, or she's wearing insane haute couture, she makes it look beautiful, sexy, and effortless. And that, is exactly what I want to be. :)
